Steven M. Green began his career with Kegel, Tobin & Truce in 1988, and became a partner in 1997. Mr. Green’s practice covers the areas of public agencies, large corporations, insurance companies and self-insured entities.
Experience: Mr. Green began his legal career as an attorney for the Law Offices of Kathleen A. Phipps, practicing civil litigation and Cumis counsel in investor fraud cases, primarily for the defendants, from 1987 to mid-1988.
In 1988, he joined the firm of Kegel, Tobin & Truce, where he initially began in the civil litigation department, until the end of 1990, primarily practicing insurance defense, focusing on law and motion, expert witness depositions, and a special project assisting one client’s SIU units with respect to chiropractic treatment issues. After that time, he moved his focus to workers’ compensation defense on behalf of the employer, the insurance carrier, and CIGA.
Education: Steven earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago in 1982. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Oregon in 1985.
