Michael A. Ingler joined Kegel, Tobin & Truce in 1979, becoming a partner in 1984. Mr. Ingler defends workers’ compensation matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board on behalf of clients such as self-insured employers and insurance companies. Michael also handles Labor Code Section 132a and Serious & Willful matters on behalf of employers.
Recently an article written by Mr. Ingler dealing with the ability to claim credit in workers’ compensation for damages arising from a medical malpractice-related lawsuit was published in the PARMA on-line newsletter. Click here to read the article.
Experience: Mr. Ingler’s prior experience was exclusively in the litigation area with two years of experience in criminal defense trial work. After joining the firm he continued to handle liability litigation for the firm’s clients until 1986 when he moved to the worker’s compensation department. Since then he has dealt exclusively with workers’ compensation matters.
Education: Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech from California State University, Northridge in 1967. He earned his law degree from the University of San Fernando Valley, School of Law in 1975.
