Karen L. Ahlstedt began her career with Kegel, Tobin & Truce in 2000, becoming a partner in 2005.  Ms. Ahlstedt represents insurance carriers and self-insured employers with a particular emphasis representing medical centers and hospitals.  She also handles Labor Code Section 132a and Serious & Willful Misconduct claims.

Experience: As a contract attorney, Karen initially worked with Kirkland & Ellis from 1998 through 2000, handling discovery requests and responses, assisting in drafting briefs in jurisdictions around the country, assessing documents as to privilege and reviewing produced documents.

Education: Karen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations at Boston University in 1994.  She received her law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1998, graduating cum laude.
