Elizabeth A. Kearns began her career with Kegel, Tobin & Truce in 2010. She represents insured employers and their carriers in the defense of matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
Experience: Prior to joining Kegel, Tobin &Truce, Ms. Kearns practiced Federal labor and employment law at Ermer & Brownell in Washington, DC. Previous to Ermer & Brownell, Ms. Kearns worked as the Director of Programs and Membership Development for the National Council for Public-Private Partnerships. Ms. Kearns also served four years in the United States Navy.
Education: Ms. Kearns earned her Bachelor of Art in Political Science from Southern Methodist University in 2002, graduating magna cum laude. She received her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2006.
