ASSOCIATE

Deborah L. Morin began her career with Kegel, Tobin & Truce in 2000, returning in 2010.  Deborah represents insurance carriers and self-insured employers.  She manages cases from inception to conclusion, handling all aspects of analysis, discovery, negotiations and litigation and has experience handling Labor Code Section 132a and Serious & Willful Misconduct claims.  

Experience: Deborah has practiced in workers' compensation defense for over 10 years.  She started her career at Kegel, Tobin & Truce in 2000.  She subsequently worked as a Senior Associate at Schlossberg & Umholtz and was the managing attorney in their Westlake Village office for 5 years. Prior to law school, she worked as a paralegal at a law firm in Palo Alto in the areas of securities and intellectual property litigation for 5 years.

Education: Deborah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Hillsdale College in 1991.  She received her law degree from University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in 1999.
