Connie Chen recently began her second tenure at Kegel, Tobin & Truce in 2010, having previously worked here from 2005-2007. She represents insured employers and their carriers, as well as public entities, in the defense of matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.

Experience: Prior to joining Kegel, Tobin & Truce in 2005, Ms. Chen served as an extern at various public interest organizations, including UNICEF, Legal Services of New York City, and Lawyers for Children.

After leaving Kegel, Tobin & Truce in 2007, Ms. Chen went on to work at the law firm of Adelson, Testan, Brundo & Jimenez as a workers’ compensation defense attorney from January 2008- April 2010.

Education: Ms. Chen earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies   from Cornell University in 2000.  She received her law degree in 2004 from Boston College School of Law.
